romance, sarcasm, math and language

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to one of my favorite webcomics. It’s a webcomic called xkcd by Randall Munroe. It is, in my opinion, one of the funniest I’ve seen. I don’t know, nor have I ever spoken with the creator of the comic – I just thought that it was funny enough that I wanted to mention it. Mr. Munroe bills his cartoon as “A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math and language.” They’re mostly just stick figures – so there’s not much to look at – but the writing’s just hilarious. It’s not for everyone and I can’t say that I laugh at or even *get* every comic he writes, but he is, at times, brilliant. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Here are a few samples:

Of course, this *is* a webcomic and so, some of the funnier ones are a little more (okay, a lot more) edgy than the samples I provided. Again, go check it out.

They’re pretty funny strips. But what the heck is the stick guy doing in the last panel of the bottom strip? and what is that thing he’s on?

I think he’s leaning over the back of the couch to reach his computer…a stick computer even!

If you’re into this you should check out Dinosaur comics too.

Hey Scott, I love this strip too. I’m actually writing about it for the Panel Mammals site on Thursday.
